International

Tested my WA shaped - same problem..

WA unshaped works fine on international..

they shaping us to death!!!

I get 504 timeout errors on any link at www.yahoo.com

I just tested as well and I also get timeouts on internal links there, among other international websites. This only started for me about 20 minutes ago though.

I tried to call Axxess support to find out what the problem is but gave up after waiting too long on hold.

Same issues here..
"Our main backbone provider is currently in the phase of adding more bandwidth from the seacom infrastructure to the current network infrastructure, which will give much improved speeds internationally. In preparation of this, there may be some intermittent latency/connectivity issues internationally. We expect everything to be concluded by early August, after which you will be able to enjoy a much better surfing/connectivity experience. We do apologise for the inconvenience caused by this. " Axxess

I just tested our office connection vs my home connection...

@ Home - IS Account -- everything working fine, low pings, etc
@ Work - SAIX Account -- Most USA sites fail, while rest of world is fine.

Quicly got myself an unshaped WA prepaid: (on packet loss probably because of ctrl-C)
--- google.com ping statistics ---
69 packets transmitted, 68 received, 1% packet loss, time 21135ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 296.532/303.698/402.947/15.432 ms, pipe 2

Still no change.. .down or intermittent tracert shows that any of my servers are unreachable or intermittently unreachable via Telkom ISP....even using pings...same result.

Treid two DSL routers now - both with same results. ISP setting checked and correct.
