Internet connection sharing and VMware.

I am trying to get Internet access though Ubuntu running on a virtual machine on Windows 7. I know I need to use internet connection sharing and have enabled this. Apart from that I don't know whats the next step. Ubuntu does not receive a DHCP assigned IP address from my Windows host.

I am using VMware desktop for virtualization.

This is what I did.
I shared the 3G connection with VMnet 8.
VMnet 8 IP is set to use DHCP.

In VMware I used NAT.
