Internet Explorer 9 and Firefox 4 face off

One big bummer for me is that Chrome still can't 'open' files. You have to save every file to your computer before you can open it. Until that is fixed, Firefox FTW

Adblock + FTW and it works in Chrome too :)
I cant stand the web without adblock +

I am 100% with you on this one, also saw that Chrome now supports most of the addons I like in FF, but FF still remains my browser of choice, with Chrome a close second. Only use IE if I have to.

All respect to IE users (my parents included)

I care too much about my family to let them do their internet banking with an MS browser ;) Even got my 85 year old grandfather doing his banking on Firefox...

I have to give this one to MS. IE9 is decimating the current rivals. IE9 64-bit is lightning fast & smooth & simplistic. I run FF 3.6.x & now FF 4 on my work PC and the latest Chrome on my second Home PC. FF & Chrome doesn't come close to the user experience of IE9.

On an enterprise & domain level; don't even bother with FF or Chrome. It fails horrible.

I must admit, the 64 bit option is compelling.

Eish... I hate to admit this... IE9 64bit is looking VERY very nice.

I have been nibbling at the web with it, and it is holding up very nicely.

If I could import my Opera passwords, I think I just might use it as default for a while.

Who'd 'ave thunk it ever... me using MSIE... geeeeesh... what is this world coming too... must be the SuperMoon influence.

Will IE9 be included in forthcoming windows updates?

I use Chrome on my older clunkier pc's but for PC's on which I need to do proper work, I'll keep using FF3.5 until all my add-ons are compatible in FF4

22 March - 5:30pm. I have tried twice to download the new Firefox 4 from the Mozilla web site and both times the file has been corrupt. I download just over half of the file and then it finishes. Anyone else had more success than me :-)

Don't know about you guys but I'm having trouble installing IE9. Firefox downloads and installs in less than a minute. IE9 takes 3 times longer and then wants to download updates and now it appears its frozen.

FireFox is looking pretty neat at the moment. No complaints. Not really seeing any difference in speed. When IE9 finishes, if it finishes, I will see if there's a difference...

I had problems downloading IE9 via chrome. When I used IE8 to download IE9, it worked fine.
