I already have IE9 beta on my laptop. I tried installing the 19MB IE9 Installer and it told me that a more recent version was already installed on my system and that it would now exit. I mean, how DUH is this? I guess it's par for the course with Micro$oft! Nothing ever works properly the first time or without an immediate patch. So how come is the IE9 32-bit version on www.ie9.co.za not the latest release since I have had IE9beta on my laptop for months already?

Nothing on www.ie9.co.za is current.

Just go to www.microsoft.com, search for a 'download IE9' advertisement and click on the link. Then you'll get the latest build, straight from Redmond.

Things to know about IE9:

1. It downloads Firefox a bit quicker.
2. It downloads other browsers faster also :P.
3. ..... nope ran out of uses for it :D

IE9 is still in BETA: it has NOT been released as a full version. Geez, these media reports make me so mad. Here I go blasting my mouth off, trying to find the release candidate or the full version, so I go to Microsoft dot com as instructed, and lo and behold Microsoft's website says to try IE9 BETA. DUH! Why do people waste other people's time with erroneous reporting? Just wasted the last 3 hours on nothing.

I tried to run IE, but have one problem:

Code:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101027 Ultimate Edition/2.8 (maverick) Firefox/3.6.12

Think FF is blocking IE from running... must be a conspiracy! :D
