Internet in the USA

The U.S may have faster internet but would you really like to live there, remanants of Bush, The War, The size of the people(they should be classified as something else after they hit 130kg), the general stupidity of the nation "You from South Africa wow I've been there, I went to Nairobi" or "Why aren't you black?". The current economic situation etc etc etc

I think we can create a formula where the amount of activity (ie sport, socialising etc) people do is inversely proportionate to the speed of their internet.
In the USA I don't have ruthless thugs spying into my house's back window waiting for an opportunity to storm in against my privacy and steal everything I have with violence. Here in the US, they have a public infrastructure with value, because it isn't being destroyed like in South Africa - telephone poles actually have wires between them, and houses don't need 5 meter high walls around them... stuff like that: outweighs the economic problem, etc. Life is better here either way you look at it - I'd love to live here

I think you last line kind of summed up what I was trying to get at, no matter what problems we have and what benefits they have, South Africa is still the better place to live

I think you read that wrong.

Yep, as logic would dictate :) Only an idiot would prefer to live in South Africa ignorantly justifying the reality until the day they or their family becomes the inevitable target...
Take violent crime away, heal the infrastructure/competition, "balance" the population a bit, and presto SA would be the best place in the world. Unfortunately that's not the case, so I can't be the patriot I wish I could be... the push/pull factors of BOTH countries are crying for me to make the move (again, against my own will). Malema will rejoice if I finally get out, right? So will I... (20Mbps beats pulling my hair out spending months trying to get my phone repaired with Telkom, heck even barely 1mbps with neotel) you know?

Did I?
To me he is saying SA is still a better place to live. Maybe I'm just going a bit crazy, the holidays tend to do that to me.
