Good Morning @Rain

I need help urgently.

My internet has been off since last night. I have always had strong 5 bar signal and high throughput of over 200mbps. Last night my signal dropped to 3 bars with no throughput at all. I can't open anything at all I can't even do a speed test. I have work to do today and I can't even log a support ticket through the rain app as it just gives me an error saying this can't be done at this time then when I click submit it tells me I allready logged a ticket even though it never went through. Please consider this post my ticket. Please reach out to me as soon as possible. I believe my tower has a fault.

Regards Violetvenom

We had stage 4 loadshedding was the tower not off during this time? Have you since tried restarting it?

Good morning
Thank you for your reply. I have rebooted my desktop. Laptop and phones aswel as the router multiple times since last night my signal just stays on three bars and no throughput. I have had 5G for a year now and always had five bars. This is a true fault as nothing was wrong previously even during loadshedding.

Yes, then it sounds like your tower never went online again. If you know which area the tower is check local groups to see if they are having power issues.

I'm also tracking loadshedding in the suburb my tower is, and it has happened before that a substation had a fault and the entire neighborhood was without power, meaning no internet for me even though we have power.

Periodically restart to check if your tower is online, I hope a rain agent can fix it for you.

I suspect the same from my end. I'm going to reboot often today and see if anything changes. Will wait for the rain agent to reach out. Thank you for replying it is appreciated.

Hi @VioletVenom
May you please send us a dm with your details.

My problem persists. Even after a router swap my signal is now only two bars. I can't even get 1mbps currently web pages just time out. The rain tech has made it worse now than it was before. What is the status of the tower @rain_mobile im stuck here with no service that I'm paying r1000 for again in three days. I need answers and solutions here

Try looking at the towers that would work for… get there PCI information then switch and see what happens
