Internet outage blamed on botched botnet hack in Germany

Around 5% of Deutsche Telekom’s subscriber base was left without Internet access following a failed attempt to hack their routers.

Looks like Shodan indexed 80 million devices vulnerable to this around the world, Germany cant be the only ones targeted.
