Internet-over-powerline a reality

This will not be viable for South Africa as most rural areas are still not electrified.
 
Mebe so, Vice, but the electricity net is at least scores bigger than the telephone net in this country. IMO this is the fastest way to enable internet access to the majority of SA.
 
almost 100% of SA's people have access to electricity, afaik.
