Internet overtakes TV in Britain

Broadband as a consumer product had grown from zero to 10 million in just over seven years.

Telkom is aiming for, what?, 1 million broadband users by the end of 2008? So from ADSL inception to the 1 million target, it would be zero to 1 million in seven / eight years?

Here's a blatantly obviously tip: Look at what the British have done to liberate their telecoms industry, do the same here, and blow that 1 million target out of the water by exceeding it at least 5 fold - provided the changes are done now and not later.

Yup - it's called forward thinking, forward planning - and some empathy with the electorate - all things we lack out here. To do this requires a massive change in concept - and really has to come from the top, ie, gubberment.
