Internet Solutions / Afrihost Spamhaus IP range

Looks like its their dynamic adsl ip range, or one of them, users shouldn't host MTA's on that range. By the looks of it, IS might have added that subnet themselves. I suspect they expect users to make use of smtp.is.co.za / smtp.isadsl.co.za instead of sending mail direct.

196.215.0.0/16 is listed on the Policy Block List (PBL)

A rather large block of IPs which may be causing problems.
Internet Solutions added that listing themselves. It should not cause any problems with normal sending of mail if you use your email provider's SMTP server.

@rpm - have there been any reports of problems?

If the range contains some static IP's used for sending legitimate email, expect some flak from very irate customers.

I nearly panicked, forgot our static IP. :o Had to ping our server to check our IP :o

So glad we're not using that same block :D
