Hello Peeps
This is on prepaid. What are the terms and conditions? Any advice appreciated.
Thanks.

Do you mean 1.2Gig for R49 one?

You get a SIM, that SIM gets 100MB per month for a year. Unused 100mb expires at end of month. Can roam on MTN network. Can load additional data.

You have to on a particular one of the 2 prepaid plans (I forget which) for you to be able to buy that bundle online.

I've bought and renewed a 1GB per month one for R499 for someone.

You need to be on Telkom More to purchase the internet starter pack bundles.

And I saw some older starter packs (larger packs - blue) @CNA few weeks ago. The old one carries 200MBp/m for R49 vs. 100MBp/m a new one for the same price..

You can also just buy the sim card wherever, be on the Telkom More plan and then buy the Internet Starter Pack through the Telkom portal

Yes you can easily but if you can still get the old big blue packs they come loaded with the 200mb data month for R49 so that is a better deal than the bundle you buy.

Get 5 starter packs gives you 1 Gig a month for 12 months. Just a mission to swop sim cards around :)

Yes, 1.2GB for R49 is a pretty good deal. I bought 6 sim cards for the family and loaded with 10 or more of these "starter packs". Now the family has all the data they need.

As the starter packs expire, I will not buy more. Instead I will send them data from my 50GB bundle (on a different sim). It's slightly cheaper. More importantly, data can be carried over for up to 12 months, so there will be less wastage.

Hi guys
One more question.
If I get the bundle can it be used anytime and does it carry over for a month?
Thanks.

Yes. You can load airtime on the sim.

I was on Sim Sonke, I changed tariffs to Telkom More, bought the bundle, then changed back to Sim Sonke the next month (Call rates are cheaper).

Airtime carries over (except the bonus Telkom More airtime). As explained above, the data does not carry over
