Internet Tethering on MTN with 3GS

I have Mywi installed on my 3GS.

What else do I need to use it as a modem with my PC/Laptop?

You just turn on internet tethering on the phone in network settings. On a mac you just plug it in and I think you do the same on Windows 7.

You must also make sure you're running an OS version of 3.1.2 (might be 3.1.3) I forget - or later version.

Nothing. Switch on MiWi and your laptop should pick up the signal. A strong 3G signal helps!

Just a small side note. MyWi will make the iPhone look like a wireless access point (and I've heard it SUCKS your battery almost quicker than you can charge). If you just want to tether to your laptop the iPhone OS has built in tethering using either bluetooth or the sync cable.
