Interpol puts Assange on most-wanted list

But, but it's the Swedes. You know your utopian paradise......

Its sad that Swedes are being manipulated in this. I do hold higher standards to them but everyone can be bought out.

It's all too convenient. Didn't these accusations surface right about the time the US was desperately trying to get their hands on Assange?

Yes it did, He is being framed, It's clear to everyone. they want to shut him up for good.

Nope its not clear to everyone. Dumb people cant see the obvious... as we see by some of the responses in this thread :D

 that makes no sense..
Used the scorpions to go after his enemies for reasons other than the crimes they may or may not have committed. No one would be trying to arrest Assange if he hadn't released those documents.

Aah, okay, that makes sense now. Lol :P

I dig how some people in this forum are getting so upitiy about stuff coming out that was said "in confidence". Saw this comment that basically summed it up: Would you tell something "in confidence" to someone who you expected to write down a detailed report of your statements, and send them into a system to analysed and passed around? Anyone speaking to a diplomat and expecting confidence was naive from day one.

Swedes are pretty interesting people.
Have you read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and it's follow ups?

They've got some interesting fetishes there.

Haven't read them, but watched the two movies that have come out. Can't wait for the third one to come out next Friday :D.

But agreed, the movies are kind of disturbing...

It's only a matter of time before we hear of Assange dying from a "car crash" or "falling down stairs".

exactly, the rape charges are being fabricated by the US govt.

Pity the tinpot socialists comrades in Ecuador have changed their minds about offering him refuge...

Then again it couldn't have been a tempting offer since the el presidente was kidnapped and held hostage by their own police a few months ago lol

The lapdog nanny state Australians have already communicated their eagerness (drooling tongue on the floor no doubt) to arrest him should they be asked to help.
That was even before this rape charge surfaced.

Yeah, but what do you expect from a colony of prisoners.

I don't know really why governments would want to get rid of him...

The "major" leaks thus far have been rather tame I'd say. The major hype before the release has not led to seriously damaging allegations... yet.

I read one comment on the left-wing Guardian website that these cables would help prove that the US was involved in 9/11. LOL :D

Been a major FAIL for them so far. The only thing debunked so far is their West/Zionist conspiracy against Iran. Oops :D

Really. The rape charge saga has been around for months. Only in the last few days have the Ausies come to their senses.

Well there are cables that have been released that governments do not want their allies to know about. I'd say thats pretty major to governments. It may not be "major" to us, but governments would prefer to keep them secret. They're "tame" now, but this is just the first of hundreds-of-thousands cables still to be released. Assange is a pretty clever guy and I reckon he's releasing the least damaging cables first. The worst (best) is still to come. The US does not want any info about 911 to come out.

sad that some are so eager to believe eveything the media and authorities spoon feeds them... fools the lot of them
no doubt this smear campaign is being organised by the Us and its lapdog allies, wouldn't be surprised if these women are being offered huge paychecks to go along with it, even if they manage to silence assange i have no doubt wiki leaks will live on.

It's funny how the article throws in his declined residency to somehow create the impression that there is something wrong with him. Wouldn't it have made more sense to offer him residency and arrest him when he enters the country. They are trying to create the impression that he is a fugitive on the run.
