I haven't read this thread yet, but I've watched two movies after Interstellar, and it just sucks balls. Interstellar was an experience like I've never had before.

Interstellar - a great movie! 10

Recently won an auction for a PSA certified poster signed by all main cast members. Was quite a bit, but worth the money for me. Can't wait to hang it up my wall.

Watched this movie yesterday.

Loved it to about half way through, and then it went pear shaped for me.

The way I described it to my sister is that it feels like the writer had a really good thing going ... then halfway through smoked a joint and lost the plot.

There is something I don't get. The father of Anne Hathaway sends her off with 3 male astronauts to leave earth and his intention was that they never return but repopulate the new planet. They go to a planet where Matt Damon is waiting because he set off his signal.

Question arises. Would it not have been better to have a all female crew who could self inseminate themselves. Or was it Anne Hathaway's fathers goal that she has relations with 4 men to repopulate the new world?

They were kind of in dire straits, and didn't have the luxury to choose who they wanted. Those are the experts that are left.
