Yes, you have 5/6 week waiting period but be very, very careful during this time. You need to be very attentive and supportive and maintain physical contact with your SO. If not you will be doomed to handjobs in the shower for many months to ermmm... come.
 
Had 2 kids. Both natural births. First was..... tough.... so some injuries down there that have never made sex quite the same again. As a result, took about 4 months after the birth of our first and 3 months after the birth of our second.

I wont lie about it being tough to handle with a high libido. Got to the point where I couldn't tell whether it was tears or fap juice that I was rinsing down the drain at night. :o Just kidding, I could always tell. ;) It was mostly tears. :cry:

This and it takes much longer than 6 weeks for her body to recover from pregnancy and birth and now attending to a new born. Her body has been through alot and is not the same as it was pre pregnancy. This might affect her confidence while it returns to normal. Being sensitive and supportive to this will go along way to help her to feel like her sexy self again.
