Introducing TelkomZA

As many of you know, I have for some time been providing some support on this forum in my personal capacity, and responding on various Telkom-Internet-related threads. My disclaimer has been that I can assist with Telkom Internet-specific issues only, no line issues, no ADSL line issues, only support for anything telkomsa.net, and that my posts on any threads represent my personal views, and not the views of the company (in accordance with various company policies).

For a long time, users have also asked when Telkom would have official representation on the forum. That time has now come.

TelkomZA is the company representative, and will assist with the following kinds of queries on this forum:
-Any Telkom line-related queries
-Any Telkom account queries

Note that nothing will change regarding my participation on the forum in the immediate future, I will still provide unofficial information and assistance, but the TelkomZA account may provide quicker turn-around on the above queries.
 
Thanks Ranger. I hope you prepped TelkomZA rep. Currently the territory is hostile ;).

This is amazing news. Will the TelkomZA representative at some stage be able to help with updates on when congested DSLAMs (exchanges) ect will be resolved?
 
Hope he brings his flamesuit, sadly there are very few people that actually like telkom :)
 
For starters....read the 8TA/Telkom mobile connectivity issues - almost always from 6pm!
Poor or even no comms from almost every complainant using 3G Telkom mobile....helpdesk, calls to your support are treated with disdain & never resolved.

I have to say mine were resolved,so "never" doesn't apply,but yes they can do more to improve that.
