Awesome. Telkom has owed me an ADSL installation for 18 months, and after taking my money claim that I never paid for it. Will be great having a competent person to help us.

Is this officially sanctioned because I know this stuff can get you fired.

?
Surely it is an account that is manned by one or more customer care reps - so you can't know anything to get a particular person fired if a customer rep is sanctioned by Telkom management?

Thank you.:)

This is gr8 news for all of Telkom customers. It makes up for the price increase in my book. :)

Constant Telkom ADSL outages

Is TelkomZA still helping folk on this forum?
I see there have not been recent posts .. unless I'm looking in the wrong place?
I have ADSL outages regularly, at least several times each week.
If I am lucky, a few reboots of my Netgear D6000 router will restore internet connectivity (for a while only)
Every single day I struggle to connect.
The local Telkom guys are pretty clueless as to the cause of my lack of ADSL connectivity ... they have been at my property many, many times over the past few years. Occasionally they fiddle with the underground Telkom wiring, and try to dry out the water-filled manholes. This sometimes restores our ADSL connection temporarily , only to have it drop out a day or so later!
I have been in Swellendam for almost 6 years now and have seldom been able to rely on an uninterrupted ADSL connection
I live in a small housing complex (only 6 homes) and all six have ADSL lines. But I am the only home which has constant ADSL problems / outages. The other 5 homes do not have ADSL outages such as I experience.
