Hi,
I purchased a MTN MyCall100 package and got the F@stlink E620 data card. Did the software install and then plugged in the datacard (just as the manual describes). XP gave the message that device is ready for use. I then started the MTN Data Card software, and it takes forever to detect the datacard. Comes back with a message that the card is invalid.

Called customer care and they took me through the process of setting up a New Network connection. Can now connect to the net, but not through the supplied software, so I have no idea how much accumulative data I've used and whether or not I'm connected at 3g, HSDPA, or whatever speed.

Any reason why the supplied software would give this message.

Also saw in one of the threads that I should perhaps try the WinsockxpFix. Will try it tonight ... but any other suggestions are welcome ...

Thanks

Follow this thread and try the different COM settings. I had the same problem before changing COM ports. There seems to be a hardware clash of the E620 and some motherboards/graphics or maybe the bluetooth stack.

Thanks Insider,

I was out of the office for the better part of yesterday and today, please keep us in the loop and let us know - I know that Huawei have also put updated software on there site http://www.huawei.com/

Also if could suggest that if you're with MTNSP then you can use the likes of 16202 to check your data usage - If you can't access it then PM me and I'll get the guys at 808 to setup a password for you.

As for the speeds you can use the following link it gives quite a good indication of your exact speeds http://212.19.68.252/speed.html

Thanks MTNDD
