Yep... just got round to it...

I extracted all my data to a different location and deleted my profile

Then I logged in with a different name and deleted my "corrupted" profile

Logged back in with the deleted username and the files were fixed just had to set it back the way I liked it

If the problem persists try to delete these reg keys (it should do the job) :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\explorer.exe

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\iexplorer.exe
