Does anybody know if/when IC will have the special on the 1TB Iomega external hard drives? The normal price is R1699. It was on special last month for R799. Only got 8GB left on my internal drive....

Not sure about the Iomega's, but there is a chap on BoB that I get 1TB WD drives from when he has specials listed - tjamo had them for R695 incl. and you can collect in Midrand - their company deals with backups, etc, and the drives are brand new sealed.
It may be cheaper to grab one for internal use, or just put it in an external case

then Esquire has a Freecom 3.5 1Tb external drive for R799 ex VAT, that's about R910 incllusive...
