iOS 17

iMessage activation failed on my cell number after this update. I have disabled and re enabled both FaceTime and iMessage, restarted my device and my time zone is correct. I have a contract sim and the next step would be to top up my balance and try again, would that work or is there another way to activate iMessage on my cell number?

What about it? The UK isn't getting it and they're actually in Europe. Get yourself an EU apple account if it's important to you.

EDIT: this is coming about due to the EU’s Digital Markets Act

Is anyone else’s WiFi crap or it just me?

13 Pro on 17.4, modem firmware 3.50.04. For a while now as soon as I’m in my office (home PC has a 4/5 bars WiFi, and work laptop has the same) I’ll randomly lose WiFi on my phone when it’s been on 2/3 bars. I then have to walk over to the router in the lounge before the phone finds signal again. Only solution from Apple has been to forget the network and start over. Had to do that multiple times.

It hasn’t happened since I updated to 17.4 (yet), but still early days.

No problems here, (14 Pro, 12 mini, iPad Pro), but I have been on 17.4 for a while now.

Don’t know if anyone else has noticed, iOS 17.4 changed the comma to a full stop in some places…like in Calculator or if you check under Settings how much space you have free on your device, it will now show (for example) 17.4 Gb free (instead of 17,4 Gb)

Yep.
