Should I upgrade to iOS 5.1?

So basically I want to know if I should bite the bullet and upgrade to iOS 5.1 or should I rather keep my jailbroken iOS 5.0.1?

Has anyone here updated to iOS 5.1, do you find it better than 5.0.1 or worse?
 
Do you care about the Jailbreak? If you don't really care, update. iOS 5.1 has pretty much minor UI updates. Better than 5.0.1 of course. You can also run iPhoto.
 
I've updated the iPod Touch 4th gen and the iPad 1. Apart from being able to activate the iPod's camera (FWIW) from the lock screen, there's not much change. All behind the scenes, I guess.

They are supposed to have solved the battery glitch, but neither of my gadgets ever suffered from that.

As long as you dont want to use the updated iWork apps or iPhoto then keep your JB.
 
I have an iPad 2 on iOs 4.3, how do I upgrade to 5.01? The restore option gives me errors, but its fine for upgrading to 5.1.

I see what you mean. I'm not sure of the intricacies behind jailbreaking and installing previous versions. Sorry.

Yip, all restores are verified and authorized online through Apple's servers. They no longer authorizing updates to anything other than 5.1.

If you have jailbroken your iPad in the past and have saved your blobs using Tiny Umbrella you may be able to upgrade to 5.0.1 by downloading the required ipsw and restoring to it through iTunes.
 
ios5.1 solved the option of switching between 3g and gsm mode on my iphone 4s. There was no option for that when i was on 5.0.1

That apparently doesn't work for the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S.
