As I recall the iPad 2 Jailbreak is more linked to a legal issue than actual exploit?

The new A5 Architecture and build of the Ipad2 makes it alot harder for a jailbreak. The guys are trying to dump the bootloader but its not easy going.

For iOS 4.3 yeah, that's correct.

For the newer jailbreak, like assassin said, it's a lot of work. Geohot and the guy behind Greenpoison have challenged each other to dump the bootloader so we should see some progress soon hopefully.

Lol well what you wanna backup? I just updated and all my App Store apps remained, even installous apps. And for Cydia apps I used xBackup to backup.

UPDATE #1: PwnageTool has been updated, as well as RedSnow (to 0.9.6 rc16), to include a fix for the iPhone3GS/i4 side switch vibration issue (only for 4.3.3!). Thanks to @i0n1c for tracking this down (even though he doesn’t even have an iPhone!).
