Updated my Iphone 5s with the latest IOS last night. Since then i cannot connect to Iphone's Hotspot from my Ipad Air. Then updated the Ipad as well, but still no connection.
Also tried my Ipad Mini and my Son's Sony Z3, but the same does not want to connect. Did a few resets on both devices with no luck. Anyone else with the same issues, and resolves? Both units on Vodacom network.

Thanks for the warning - will hold off on the IOS devices here
 
have you tried selecting your connection, and choosing ''forget this network" before connecting again? It may be a fresh wifi fancy encryption doohicky cache
 
Ok, new complications. No 3G or 4G indicator on Iphone. Also done all the resets etc. no change.
 
Not impressed with Apple's shyte latest iOS. Battery drain is something fierce. I'll hold off on this nugget then....
 
Update: Also, cannot check any data balances by dialing *111#
 
Try different network/sim? Sound like you are not getting network info. Also try holding power button and function button for 30 secs as this will reset your caches and cycle battery.

Weird.

Mine is the opposite about with battery being better than ever. And I even have bluetooth on all day now which I never did before.

Just tested Hotspot, iPhone 6 and Air 2, absolutely no problem connecting the Air to the iPhone and using the Hotspot. Sounds more like a network problem tbh.
