Ip address conflict

I'm getting an ip address conflict when i connect via 3g. It happens about 1 in every 5 times. I use Windows Vista with HP Connection Manager 3.0 on a vodacom mygig contract.

How can i resolve this ? Should i set static ip information in my tcp/ip properties ?
Anyone else experiencing this ?

What is the output of 'ipconfig /all' when the conflict occurs?

This is a common thing especially with Windows Vista. I would still like to know why it happens.

What i've done for the clients coming in with that question is i disable their built-in wireless adapter and the error magically dissapears. I've never had any of them come back again.
