Ipad 16GB or 32GB

16GB is plenty, unless you are planning to store a lot of HD video files on it.

We are currently consuming more data than we did a year or two ago.
I had an 8g iphone 3g and within a short span of time it wasnt enough. I currently have a 16g iphone 4, and again, I have to continually remove stuff from it, apps, movies, music videos and so forth.
I think 16g may suffice for a while. but if you have enough cash go for the 32g and maybe later u can even give it to your... kids

The official prices:

http://www.zastore.co.za/ipad2.php

iPad 1:
16gb = R3900 16gb 3G = R5000
32gb = R4900 32gb 3G = R6000
64gb = R5900 64gb 3G = R7000

iPad 2:
16gb = R4400 16gb 3G = R5700
32gb = R5400 32gb 3G = R6700
64gb = R6400 64gb 3G = R7700

So R1000 for 16gb extra if you get a 32gb, another R1000 to go 64gb.

That's the most expensive flash memory you'll ever buy! Heck even my expensive SandForce SSD was way cheaper.

So that's why I go with the 16gb.

or... get on your hands and knees (and post 20 comments) and you might win one....

I say get the 32Gb, I doubt you will run out of space. The 16gb will limiting. I'm thinking 32 / 64gb for me, as I am out and about alot and I like to catchup on downloaded Youtube video's, series etc. i have filled my 32gb iPhone4 with this content. Rather go for bigger and no you covered for some time.
IMHO.

I don't have an iPad (yet) but I have a 32gig iPhone and at times I find it way too small. I have a lot of photos, music, movies, tv series and apps that I lime to carry around, but it depends on what you want to use it for and personality.

Do you want to use your iPhone/iPad as a server for media files? If so, get the biggest one you can get. If you only want to use it to consume media from other servers, a 16GB would be fine.

This question has also been driving me mad. That and the fact that I can't get my hands on a 3G model. But as some people mentioned space has a funny way of disappearing. I have just past 10 terabytes at home and not sure if it will every stop.
