Yeah, feels good - haven't won anything in decades - thanks all! All I can say is gosh and wow but that survey was tough, but I made it through with the help of all my family, friends and colleagues. Without them, well, I just don't think I could have done it. Thanks you guys, you're just the best. And I'd like to thank all the other guys who did it with me, and my Mom, and my Dad, my manager, my trainer, my producer, and, of course, Dr Seuss. And RPM:p

Sheesh! Someone who remembers my original nick. My missus said I'll have to get one of my nephews to show me how to use it. That was after she asked me what an ipad was. (If we hadn't been married 22 years....) :)
 
One day I will also win an iPad... Let's hope it is before I have saved up enough to buy my own. :D

I know how I missed the post: I only ever look at "Today's posts". I never go to the forum home page, and therefore I never see the "Announcements" Sub-forum. And the announcement wasn't linked to the original thread urging everyone to complete the survey, 'cos that would have triggered the email notification to my inbox. I guess I missed it in the RSS feed too. I've made half a dozen odd posts since monday, and been on the forums every day as usual: lurking, reading, posting - the usual. Anyway, thanks again Yuu. Maybe you might have won it in the re-draw...:p

Oh dear no , i doubt i would have won, in anycase i was lucky today to have won in the Console thread so that is good enough for me :).

:) but nevertheless thanks for the kind words.

So have you decided what you want to use the ipad for?? Gosh i hope you not retired :p else you will surpass us younger geeks here :D

I always told my customers when i was working in IT Retail (they often complained because of their age) "you never too old to learn" and they would just giggle :). So don't be afraid to tinker is what i am saying ;-)
