iPad 2 wont boot, wont charge and cant DFU

Afaik damaged/faulty/returned units are replaced with a refurbished unit hence the quality control.

well then i will be very pee'd off as i was told that they are replaced with new units.

I would not mind a refurb unit if i had been told in the beginning and the quality was the same as the one i gave in, i.e zero scratches etc

Refurbs are indistinguishable from new, they that good. Probably includes a one year warranty too.

got the unit back, it is most definitely a new unit and is still wrapped in that plastic cover they come in. that or a damn good refurb.

starting it up now.

sucks that they don't give you a new screen protector, not your fault that their product failed.

So the replacement would have around 3 months warranty? See, I reckon that's wrong. The replacement unit should carry a full year warranty.

Well, not if the iPad didn't keep breaking down.

EDIT: The warranty for a replacement iPad expires the same date the original iPad's warranty expired or 90 days after the date of replacement, whichever is longer.
