Guys,

So, I fell off to sleep with my iPad and like all things gone wrong, it dropped on the floor and the power button is no longer working. Does anyone have any idea where I could have this repaired, preferably in PTA? And just as luck would have it, I upgraded to 4.2.1, and can't enter DFU mode to jailbreak with a faulty power button! :(

Thanks

M

ouch dude thats not cool... did you buy the iPad here in SA? If so, take it to CORE they should fix it.

Hi Marlin,

You would also be welcome to send your iPad to us. We are a repair centre based in Hondeydew however we have drivers that go to PTA every week day. If needed, we can collect the iPad and deliver it back to you once it has been repaired.

We would have to open the iPad to see what has been damaged by the fall and then quote accordingly.

You can find our contact details here: http://partstore.co.za/pages/Contact-Us.html

Kind regards,

Brad

Just looked at Partsore's site, its SPL and i have dealt with them and received outstanding service here in their DBN Branch (Jean-Marc & Yoland ftw :D) . Keep us posted if you send it to them so others may know about them :). Gl and sorry to hear about the button.

From their website
The power button is listed at R39 however that excludes labour am sure and any other clips etc thay may have broke.
