iPad cases

Any shops in Jhb/Pta area that would have some iPad cases in stock? Would prefer not to order something online if I could rather see what I'm getting.

I bought my genuine Apple case for iPad on ebay (some chinese guy living in New York) After paying shipping and VAT when it arrived here, it cost a fortune (over $ 100), but if I see how much these online Apple stores in ZAF charge ( R 1200 last time I looked - damn daylight robbery) I guess what I paid was not too bad. How can these guys sleep at night, charging so much for just a case ?

There are some really nice genuine leather ones out there, you will need to buy them off ebay though.

That's the "Phone Shop" I think it's called, and they keep a bunch of Mac stuff.

Yes, it is called the phone shop, but their prices is not worth it. From R700 and upwards for normal sleeves. They have 64gb + 3G iPad in stock at a price of R14 999. Crazy

The iStore is Sandton also have some nice bags. I got myself a Golla Tarif for R599

Thanks. Did exactly the same thing. Went past The Phone Shop and saw their crappy sleeves for R900+ ... And then got a Golla Tarif from the iStore, very nice bag. I'll probably import a Piel Frama leather folio.

i got the apple ipad case, but it is quite heavy... i like the fact it doubles up as a stand to type on tho ...
