iPad Mini Model A1454

Hi,
I got an iPad Mini model A1454 as a gift.
As far as I can see the ones sold here are model a1455. The only real difference being the LTE bands supported by the device.

I am on the Vodacom network.
Will the 3G & Edge functionality work or not?

I seriously hope so!?!

the GSM (3G/Edge) and UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA stays the same regardless of where you're located

So should work. My question is, why ask this before having tried? pffff

Wont work with LTE...

Not sure if its a CDMA version or GSM version though, so only way to see if it will owrk on 3G / Edge is pop a sim card in and test

The LTE on the A1454 is 700 Mhz

Asking before testing because still on holiday at a spot with virtually no cell reception.
Managed to test it at a spot where we get some reception and it works up to 3G.
Only LTE will be affected... Bummer, but not too much of an issue as I use WiFi networks mostly
