That's about a R1000 premium. Reckon it should be retailing around R3500 when it is officially launched locally.

There are people sleeping outside stores for 5 days before the launch, I bet you they wouldve paid R1000 more to get it earlier than anybody else. Needless to say, it's still a rip-off for us normal people, but if you want something really bad, you're going to get it, no matter what

Anyway these prices are crazy, i picked up a 32GB Wifi for under R4K in Sydney.. so yeah once it arrives here I'm sure it will be a bit cheaper..

Spoke to one of the sales guys at Dionwired yesterday, he said iPad mini is expected first week in December, no pricing yet of course.
