iPad online orders ???

Hey all ,

I was wondering what websites can i order the iPad from ... not locally but international.
I called around in cape town and they only getting stock in 1-2 months time. And thats's a bit of a long wait .

from what iv heard ... they seen pretty decent and im not sure on duties on the iPad . i dont think ill be paying more that R700 on duties .

i Have emailed them regarding duties and stock but still waiting on a reply .

I've placed an order with have2have but also looking at apple.com via myus.com :/
Suggestions? Latter option is cheaper.

Breakdown:
Have2Have 32GB iPad: R6,663.79 Inclusive of delivery. ETA 5-10 days from allocation in USA.
Apple.com + myUS.com: $599 + $110 (My US) + $90=$800.00-R5,910.74 ZAR ETA: 10 days?

I'm assuming customs will come to $90.

Last time I tried Apple.com did not accept non-US credit cards.
 
They pay via company cheque/paypal. Thou gonna email them.
Are you purchasing an iPad Assagai?
 
just got off a live chat with the guys from myus.com and currently they are not taking anymore orders for the iPad till the pre-ordered ones go out . They are currently waiting on stock from apple and the ones that they get in are already going out for pre-ordered ones . They will only be open to international orders in a week or so .

bought one online from a local supplier yesterday, expecting it tomorrow.
Just want to know about overseas options in case i decide to get a 3g version too.

well then you either have to develop some patience or pay the local markup... hehe.

yeah i was never known to have patience lol and now seen as u helped with that other local store i think im gonna order from them ...

yeah I hear you.. seeing as stock supposedly arriving tomorrow, I'm having some patience issues of my own.......
