iPad release for South Africa..

Paid AU$1049 for the 64GB 3G/WIFI in Australia. Less duty free, AU$944 = R6510. Staunchly said to myself and friends that I'd hold off buying a 1st gen iPad, but after playing with one for a few hours my attitude changed. This is simply an Evolutionary product!
Really surprised that it hasn't been released here yet.

Just got my IPad today. Nice device to have for browsing the web and watching music videos. Also jailbreak it to get the most out of it. Had to pay about R1k in duties bringing the cost to about R5700.00 for the 16GB. It is quite heavy if carried too long.

Got it from Aureus Tech. Go to their website to check all the models. Only waited about a week.
I use mywi to use my iPhone as a wifi point for my Ipad to connect to the Internet via 3G. Most of the time at home, I got 4meg adsl for normal browsing on the IPad

I have a 32 Gig 3G iPad for Sale if anyone is interested pm me. Reason for sale is I want the Macbook Air, just no need for both. iPad is awesome, but i cant do dev on it, i need to be able to dev while portable.
