iPad still the top tablet

Mah, I had to work with one yesterday and was unimpressed.

Didn't like the gestures, browser sux, no hdmi out, after playing with a playbook with it's gestures/browser and video clarity+ output, it feels bad.

We really needed Gartner to tell us this?

So you had no choice? The experience changes when you start looking for applications that YOU find interesting. When your friends, who tend to have similar tastes and interests, start showing you apps that they like, you're more likely to be impressed.

Personally, I find that my experience has GREATLY improved since I got a 4Mb line. The tablet market is *primarily* aimed at consumers. The iPad shines because of the ecosystem of apps. Maybe this will change, but developers aren't making as much money in the Android market yet.

I'm strictly speeaking from the interface and extra's. HDMI out is a really awesome features, especially dual screening on a tab, the gestures just don't feel as intuitive and I struggled with the multi-tasking although that might just be me being unable to use it.

I aggree that the apps are probably what make it good but as a tablet to me it was just ......mah.

HDMI output is via the 30 pin. ;)

Way to use misleading titles there. It should say: iPad still the top-selling tablet.

Or are we going to suddenly start saying that Elton John is still the top musician as well?

Heard that PB is most secure.

Thanx Bwana, didn't know that.

Heard that PB is most secure.

It is , hence the adoption by the US, Russia and Aus governments. But as a personal tablet I don't know. I'd like to play with all 3 types ( iOs , Android, Rim ) but for corporate, I'd go with the PB on security etc via BES servers.

Wasn't Apple trying to use the courts to prevent Samsung from competing with them?
