Bwana, I buy 7" tablets for my technicians precisely because they can slip it in their pockets (not jeans) and go work with the units on site without drawing unwanted attention. The Samsung 7" Plus slips into most pant pockets with ease. Cargo type pants = no problem at all.

One thing i havent seen mentioned here is that the Ipad mini is supposedly going to be 7.85 inches, and not 7, which is a key difference because it makes the mini more of an 8 inch tablet than 7. Have a look at how much bigger the screen will be compared to the nexus 7. Also note the aspect ratio difference; it's a far bigger screen than the competition.
