Please help,I am about to order the new ipad3 but im confused by pricing,the one with wi-fi only is cheaper than the one with wi-fi & 3G...why? No you can not use a 3G sim card, just buy the one with wi-fi and 3G seeing that you require it.

Well it will be better to get the one with Wi-Fi - 4G [work well on our 3g Network] because then you can use it everywhere you go. if you do have a home Wi-Fi setup then the Wi-Fi one will be ok, but then you are limited to your home and Wi-Fi hotspots only.

Many people just use a little mobile router (maybe with a 3G data contract), that gives you a lot of flexibility and you can then also use the data with your phone. For example, the Vodacom 2GB per month for R149.

With the latest iPad you should be able to create a hotspot from the iPad . . . assuming the local networks all it.

I've always found creating a hotspot chows battery life so I would prefer to share one account's data with two linked sim cards.

I got a wifi+3G iPad 2...I have never needed to use the 3G, have wifi at home and at work. Depends on your situation.

Good evening
I want to buy ipad 3 but im confuesd about them,one comes with wi-fi only and its cheaper one comes with 3G and wi-fi and expensive,I want to but the cheapest one ''wi-fi'' one and use my 3G card on it,is that possible?
