iPhone 12 Rumours & Release Date

Got mine. Setting it up now. Bought a glass screen protector and a silicon case in advance and they are both really, really crap.

Thanks. Was thinking of getting the Apple silicon case, but very undecided. Now will definitely avoid.

It's just a cheap case I got, not the Apple one. And to be fair it's not that bad. But it's pushing against the screen protector and lifting it off the glass.

For the Pro I got SwitchEasy screen protector and Clear case from Macnificent, the quality seems pretty good!
For the Pro Max I got Bodyglove screen protector and Moshi Altra case from iStore, very happy with both as well!

Just for reference, what did you get? So we can all avoid it in the future.

For me I got the NextTech screen protector and slim case on Takealot. Will update on the fit.

I wanted the official Apple leather case that’s mag safe compatible but when I saw the price of the thing... Hell even those mag safe wallet is way over priced GOD DAM.

I was planning to use my R1000 voucher to offset the heavy price.

No brand name case and screen protector from a local Pakistani shop. They were just to tide me over on arrival as I didn't want to go naked for even a second. I'll look about now for something else but will keep them both on in the meantime.

Yeah thanks, luckily I had already put in an online order. Ironically, as soon as the lady at the istore said there was no stock, the istore online team called to say they have my phone allocated and want me to complete the necessary forms.

I wanted to trade in my old 10s and reduce my monthly subscription accordingly, however since one needs to take out the phone contract in store for that, looks like I might just end up obtaining the istore voucher instead. I wish they’d give us cash instead of a voucher though. What am I going to do with a R8500 istore voucher? I could spend that money in a better way...
 
Driver just delivered mine. Shame poor guy said so many iStore boxes today still another 20 to go he said he would be driving until 9pm.

Feeling for that dude - strongs man.

Edit: anybody else loving this bring old phone next to new phone for transfer and setup dark magic ?

Wow at least they not giving up at 17:00! that's amazing most courier companies make you sit around all day saying it is out for delivery only to hear nothing from them and seeing it got checked back into the warehouse.
