I am, but I want all them new camera features and MagSafe, the 5G and high refresh is nice, extra battery life won’t be bad either.
 
Yea there are a lot of reasons to do so. But I don't get out as much anymore so the camera isn't as big of a thing as it used to be.

Battery would be lovely though, 5G doesn't affect me. I don't use MagSafe yet... decisions decisions...
 
[mention]fish [/mention] they using Courier IT, however the tracking number seems to not be pulling through in their systems, but iStore support has confirmed mine at least is out for delivery today.

I want MagSafe for the wallet, which arrived Wednesday and I got a new MagSafe car mount as well, the last normal mount just failed on me.

On paper it’s a big performance jump but as someone who does not game, meh.

I go cycling weekly so use the camera quite a bit, sort of a hobby and I got a tripod for the Astro mode.

The 5G is more future proofing, sort of, I’d only be able to use it on some of my weekend rides, but at home I have WiFi and other than cycling I seldom leave the house.
 
Got mine this morning, 8:15. I was the first on their delivery route. Very impressed with them. Havent had time to play with the device yet, been in back to back meetings :(

Yeah if you have the 11 or 12 I would say wait for the 14.

Just picked up my 13 mini in store, was busy…but it went smooth. In and out 10mins
 
Android guy sitting here reading all this trying to convince myself to wait for the 14 with a working android phone... you guys suck
 
Bought for myself and the gf … honestly much of a muchness between this and the 12 pro max … so if you skipped it you not missing much

First went to FOURWAYS mall and they had only 4x 13 pro maxes in 256gb sierra blue and were sold out by the time we were going to buy (arriving at 6h45). Decided to take a drive to mall of Africa at around 8h30 and they had stock still of the sierra blue pro maxes in 256gb guise.

I don't know what you are coming from, but I've got the 12 mini and it's just fantastic having a smaller phone after the 11 and XR before that. Battery is the only issue with this one but I believe the 13 mini is vastly improved so might jump onto that when my wife isn't watching as they look pretty similar :p

Odd iStore told me via chat this morning that I was out for delivery. Yet I just checked on CourierIt website now and its now picking up but saying it was only loaded at 10am this morning and looks to still be in JHB. So not sure what to expect. So its either gonna arrive today or have to wait until Monday.

I called CourierIT, apples blowing smoke up our arses, they only handed it over this morning.

Aye I have an XR as well currently, truth be told it can easily last me another 2 years, even more. But I love the smaller form factor of the mini so I wanted to give it a go.

Although I must admit...I went to iStore for the mini but when I laid my eyes on the screen of the pro I was floored, I immediately started doing calculations in my head about the price and wondering if I should go for the pro instead...but sanity prevailed :whistling:
 
Went to the store. They’ll offer me R10,500 for my iPhone 11 Pro.

Apparently Telkom aren’t doing the trade-in thing and neither are MTN. Only Vodacom will do it and for basically the same package I’m on now, my monthly will be the same despite the R10,500 trade in. Bunch of crooks.

took a drive past the Sandton Drive Istore to see if they had stock of the Pro Max and they said they completely out of all models.

I contract Pre-ordered on Monday but haven't had any correspondence since and called the istore contact center this morning they said it take 72 working hours to be assigned to an agent before I will be contacted. Not sure she meant 3 working days or 9. now i just got to be patient and hope not all the pre-orders are sold out.

Looks wise. Under the hood there are some major upgrades.
