I’m wondering as well since I pre-ordered with a contract. No one from the iStore has contacted me regarding that. I’d assume getting it on contract might be slower than buying it cash

Think imma wait till they become available via Discovery and fund it through them, so I guess until stock in-store normalises a bit.

They not already, they available on the FNB deal since preorder.
 
Pre-ordered via Vodacom with contract upgrade.

Anyone get shipping details yet?

Called the Call center, they see my order, but they have no stock, stock only coming in tomorrow, so not sure if thats when they assign it and ship it out?

Might end up going to a store to do an instore upgrade tomorrow.

Yeah, that’s what I figured as well (and why I'm going to do a walk-in). Now I'm just trying to figure out if there's any way I can trade in my old phone and get the voucher, while also using the app on the phone to get the new phone.

Apple has their stock now so all other sellers will only get their stock shipped out today or tomorrow so any preorder from them will only start arriving after Monday. It’s quite unlikely anyone other than iStore will have on hand stock tomorrow.

Maybe some of the JHB stores,

Only way to trade in and not hand in your current phone before getting the new one is to order online.

I learned that last week as that was my avoidance with the trade in, not wanting to hand in the old one before I’m done setting up the new one.

If you order online they include a trade in box with your order, you then package you old phone in there, send it back and if alls well and you accept, they refund the money into the card used for payment.

All other routes require you to first relinquish the current device as they don’t pay cash, only credit or voucher.

Haha, if I'm lucky, I'll crack R4k. That’s a case, screen protector, and a couple of cables and plugs. Maybe a new Watch strap if there’s leftovers.

I did also tried the pre-order through iStore online, but have heard nothing back at all. They confirmed getting my request, but radio silence since.

Case is like R400, you’ll have room. I’m very well kitted on cables, replaced all my cables with braided one and right now have 3 apple and 2 Mac chargers spare in my cupboard.

I’m the one person who does not give a **** about the lack of charger in the box. Lol

I upgraded with Vodacom but mine has been processed and I've received tracking details from RAM last night. It's looking like a launch day delivery.
 
I see when you try buy on iStore now it says shipping in 1-3 weeks.

I got a confirmation email, confirmation of payment a notice saying the apple acre will be processed once shipped and then another one saying I’ll get weekly updates on progress.

You can login on their website, there is a preorders section, if you’ve paid and all it will be listed there.

When did you pre-order? I did mine Friday morning, then they called on Saturday to confirm my details. No tracking details received yet :(

I did an upgrade through iStore, well, attempted to. Just got off the line with their Support, Contracts and upgrades are only being contacted tomorrow, as thats when the online store receives their stock.

So the pre-order was not so much a pre-order, than an expression of interest.

I hate Core group so much. . .
