Well obviously not for normal/regular voice calls. And from your last sentence, I assume the point you are trying to make is that you rarely use your phone for normal voice calls, so in that case it is not a matter of "can the iPad mini be used as a phone" - you are actually using your phone as a tablet, and therefore you can then also use a tablet (the iPad mini) as a tabletCan the new iPad mini be used as a phone?
