The chip shortage is very real even in flagship Apple Stores.

Was speaking to my Uncle who just returned for the States. He wanted a 256gb 13 Pro but was "forced" to settle on a 512gb 13 Pro Max due to supply issues.

This was at the DC store.

1399 USD (if anyone is counting).

Works an absolute treat with an official Apple silicon case. I keep my drivers license and R200 note in it and it goes everywhere with me.

True…but one can also go as far as to say, in the unlikely event where Apple Pay doesn’t work, you can quickly send yourself cash to an ATM via your banking app…but understandably, one might not necessarily be close to an ATM at all times

Just keep an actual card on you.

Got my brother the mini, first time interacting with the device but if the SE range stops then the mini seems like a perfect replacement.
