So no stock of the 13 Pro Max at the iStore anywhere in CPT - they have stock of the other variants though. They are getting more stock next week apparently, so put my name on the waiting list.

I know you mentioned about moving from your 12 Pro Max to a 13 Pro Max. Not a massive jump on paper. Is ProMotion and/or bigger battery calling your name lol

Bigger battery for the most part, and the iStore offered me R15,000 for my 12 Pro Max - so it's a good trade-in.

Might be worth looking what you can sell yours 12 for. R15,000 is the max they can offer for a trade-in, phone might be worth more. Not sure, haven’t checked pricing.

My iPhone 13 Pro arrives around November 15th via Cellucity lol.
 
got my 13 Pro Max this morning.

Every time I upgrade an iPhone I am glad that I am in this ecosystem. The upgrade process is seamless.

Quite a beast size wise compared to the Xs.
Promotion is really noticable when you are scrolling slowly.

Need a cover ASAP, off to the iStore this evening - my house is covered in tiles

Slightly off topic but wondering if anyone is going through something similar or can offer some advice? I preordered the iPhone 13 via iStore, received the device, lovely upgrade from my iPhone 11. I already requested iStore online to collect my iPhone 11 as part of the online trade-in offer, I was told that if I accept their offer they can refund me the amount into the credit card I used to make the iPhone 13 purchase.

When I went in store they had no idea about cash refunds and said only iStore vouchers are issued.
iStore online says otherwise.

Has anyone taken this cash route? Is there any pitfalls to lookout for? I’m also now wondering if merchants can refund into a virtual credit card or must it be the actual card linked to your bank credit account? I purchased my 13 with my FNB virtual credit card.

I have bought quite a few non-gen MagSafe cases, only one out of about five or six was magnetic enough to be confident that the wallet wouldn't fall off the first time it got a bump. Even the one that worked was still not as good as the genuine case.

After that I decided I wouldn't be trusting my bank card and drivers licence to a non-gen MagSafe case…
