iphone 14 pro Max or wait for the iPhone 15 pro max?

I hear you and I get it. But spending 30k on a device that is not worth 30k is already where the bad decisions started to begin with.
The things is though, the difference between the 14 and the 15 will be minimal at best, those upgrades are going to be mostly software based and most of them will be supported by the 14 if they work on the 15.
But it's not my money so I would say, go big and spend it all on the 15 I guess, if you're going to waste money anyway, why not do it properly.
True. Its true value to your life is far more than R30k. But the financial value attached to it is R30k.

Spending 30K on a phone that wont be the latest in 5 months doesn't seem like a great idea to me. But hey it is not my money. Besides the 15 could have significant features or a complete design overhaul.
30k is nothing to the rich it’s like a 50cent

Just my 2 cents. I upgraded from the 12 to the 14 Pro two weeks ago, and the difference is noticeable. From a personal experience, I would wait a bit for the price of the 14 to drop and then buy that, or even wait until the 15 releases and buy the 14. I doubt the differences between the two besides the USB-C connection will be major.

Never thought this day would come. I cant believe you just said that.
There's actually a very cool video which highlights why more & more people are buying iPhone. And it's fairly accurate, actually

In this, he recommends waiting as well

Wait.

15 Pro Max (Ultra?) is going to be a great upgrade. 3nm chip. USB-C. Titanium frame. Periscope lens. Much brighter display. Solid state buttons. 33% more ram. Wifi 6E.

What are solid state buttons?

What are solid state buttons?

With this change, the power button and volume buttons on the iPhone 15 Pro models won’t be physical buttons. Instead, they’ll be solid-state surfaces, and when pressed, Apple will use the Taptic Engine to simulate the “clicky” feeling of a real button.

If this sounds familiar, it’s because Apple did the same thing with the physical Home button starting with the iPhone 7. That device, and subsequent iPhones with a Home button, used a solid-state design rather than a physical button that actually moved. The company also uses a solid-state design with the trackpad on recent MacBooks.

I can already upgrade at the moment. However, still need to fork out the remaining costs of the contract as well. Come end of May 2023, I can upgrade without any nasty surprises....

Currently using iPhone 11 Pro 256 g with 77% batter health. Great phone. Great features and very easy to use. Have had for nearly three years and NEVER had any issues. The camera is phenomenal and quality pictures are unreal.

Want to go bigger as I enjoy the photographic features.
Big question though:
1) Wait until end of the year for the iPhone 15 pro max or possibly the iPhone 15 Ultra - some amazing rumours flying around...
or
2) Upgrade now to iPhone 14 pro max.

Any advice will be appreciated.
Wait for the 15, it will have USB-C and will be the greatest, most powerful iPhone ever known to humanity.
