I paid R38,999 for my 512GB 15 Pro Max, and it's R36,999 for the 512GB 16 Pro Max.

Solid value this year. Good time to upgrade.

Yeah I saw now it shows up after you add it.

Sadly it's just regular AirPods.

The post I quoted (i.e. someone else) was talking about Apple needing to to make profit on old devices to which I stated their competition does not and that Apple just likes money. You are welcome to discuss but I suspect you are more interested in getting your post count up than actually contributing anything worthwhile.

No. I didn't think it warranted a response as there is no point trying to point out something to someone who doesn't want to read.
But seeing as you called me out twice now, I was responding to this.

They have already adjusted the trade in estimates to cater for the 16 series.

On that R11,200 they still need to put on a markup, and be cheaper than an iPhone 16 of R19-20k (estimated) which is brand new out of the box and one generation newer.

They = Apple.
I suppose your next move is iStore != Apple semantics?

Apple doesn’t trade in SA (fyi there are no Apple Stores in SA), they make no profit from any second hand sales an independent retailer who might be an authorised reseller might make.

You didn’t think iStore actually split the profit from their second hand retailing with Apple? Did you??

Core/iStores are for all intent and purposes Apple in South Africa. When a mate buys a Renault from a Renault dealership do you also correct him to rather say Motus? Authorized badge carrying dealer = same thing.
