iPhone 16 Series

So I actually think these Makro motherfuckers somehow forgot about this order because after my Twitter query yesterday, suddenly it's being packed today.

But then if I go look again on the website the iPhones are "Online Only" and the shipping is still 21 days on a new order too so wtf is actually the story here?

Maybe @Jan can investigate this **** show for us.

So I got mine pretty much on launch day... so been using it for a while.

I've experienced substantial bugs/problems (software is updated as and when available).

Biggest issues with my iPhone 16 Pro 256GB:
Camera app crashes 80% of the time (with or without the side button, but definitely worse with the side button)
Requires a phone reboot each time - so basically I've taken only a handful of photos and no videos since buying it, hence I cannot gauge the quality of the new cameras.
Gets extremely hot and slow on occasions - seems to be randomly doing stuff in the background (even with all apps closed)
Gets very hot when charging (even with case off - via cable or wirelessly)
Battery life never lasts a full day - and I would not say I'm using it heavily (old 14 Pro Max was bigger, but lasted much longer)
All in all, can't wait to get past iOS 18.01 - being an early adopter is always a pain, but then I did get a good pre-order price and didn't have to struggle waiting for stock, 1st world problems.

Got the info from store GM and was also phoned by Masmart directly. All online iPhone 16's purchased between 13-21 September would receive a free charger. I mentioned it last week I think. There was also an email that was supposed to be sent out to everyone but that never materialized.

There's apparently a camera hardware / software bug on some 16 Pro / Max
 
My Makro order still hasn’t been delivered but it is with the courier now. It’s coming from Joburg and was shipped out on Thursday. Will probably arrive Monday I suspect.
