Which (rough) area you in? I'm still waiting in Blairgowrie. I hope it comes today because I'm only up in Jhb until Sunday. Took the risk and sent it to the friends I'm staying at's address.

Ok so spoke to someone who has a clue at the head office. Mine is scheduled for delivery on 24 Sept via SkyNet - I even have a tracking number. I suggest you call the general help line and get your tracking number.
Mine is still at sandton though so the tracking number isn’t working as yet

called both ... got the tracking number. Skynet told me Monday it will be delivered ... no point in trying to get in early on that preorder train lol. i cant even track it on their site

Well "something" is being delivered by The Courier Guy and it can only be my iPhone from Makro because even though I ordered a **** ton of stuff this week I'm pretty sure this should be all that's left.
No update on Makro's site to say the same though, interestingly it says order was created on the 17th so maybe Makro is back handling this differently.

Yup looking deeper it says Massmart.
Oddly it came all the way from Jo'burg so I'm guessing directly from Core and never got booked into local stock with any Makro at all.

I got a courier guy SMS a few minutes ago. The Makro page is unchanged though, so not sure if they're delivering both the phone and the Airpods or just the Airpods

Pretty awesome some got their iPhones today on a global launch day, I cannot remember if last year people got them same day as USA etc…? I remember I waited a few weeks before ordering.

Colour me kak disappointed to find out the AirPods I thought were delivered on Tuesday according to my wife...were in the box and not the iPhone.I got a courier guy SMS a few minutes ago. Makes me wonder once again how Makro made any money on this.
Duplicate courier fees on two very small items....let's say at least R100 at super wholesale rate.
R1000 off coupon which I'm sure is out of Makro's pocket.
AirPods which I'm sure Core sponsored or at least offered at an extreme discount, so where's the margin to be made here?
