:( iPhone 3G and Vodacrap

I hovered over the quote button for quite a while there, but clicked anyway 'cos I just have to say it: That's just plain rude.

Yeah, I know, that was the whole idea...
Another possible definition of rude could be when some iPhone hater CONSTANTLY roams all the threads and makes stupid pointless comments with the intention of ..well.. who knows?!? (Pissing people off because their views differ from his? Fishing for attention?)

Let's disect the trolls reply and you'll see what I mean:
"Ha ha ha"...Did I miss the joke here? No of course not, there was no joke, the "ha ha" routine is usually used as a way for someone to convey the fact that they don't actually care much for the subject (when they actually do), while at the same time trying to spark anger from others with opposing views.

"how sweet of the apple fan boys"...Apple fan boys? Generalizing a bit are we? Did he miss the part where I said I OWNED a Nokia for 2 years. I've always loved nokia phones, just not all of them.

"to get a little kick into Nokia"...Yeah, right, I'm sure some lonely pointless comment on a tucked away .co.za domain server somewhere about some disgruntled N80 user is a real kick in the nuts for Nokia
I didn't know Nokia needed defending, they're still the global leader aren't they?

"their phones falling apart!!"...hinn! hinn! revv that plural engine...plurals always makes the situation sound worse than it is. Nice try.

"I still have my Nokia 5110 in full working order"...Apples and Oranges man...Apples and Oranges. Also, notice how he conveniently left out the part where his N95's screen broke some time ago, the thread is here on this very forum.

Seriously LancelotSA, why don't you take some of that South African patriotism and positivity and apply it to some other areas of your existence?
I don't think you're a dumbass and I'm sure we could have a decent conversation once you do that...

There is a guy who works with me whose omnia just locked up and died. I challange anyone to find any product ever made where there wasn't a number of manufacturing defaults with some of the products ending in the market.

Whose responsible? Directly to you, the company who owns the brand, after that it's up to them to investigate and chop heads.

I have two iPhones and so far no issues. I have an n70 in the cupboard which never gave me a second of hassle.

My n95 didn't give me an ounce of crap either, I've always owned Nokias, but the look and feel of the newer nseries has put me off, every phone has it's short comings else there would be only one phone and one producer of it...

Lancealot often plays the pot, saying that 'fanboys' are bashing Nokia in an iPhone based thread?

LMAO classic post.

That's true, I had a 6210i which was a great phone for it's time and it died for no reason.

Glad it's not just me. The phones are great, it's just that S60 3rd edition OS that needs a serious rethinking in terms of usability. Not that it's totally crap, but there are now better alternatives.
I have to admit though that E71 does look sexy as hell.
