iPhone 3G S makes us all happy :)

Yeah and now lets be honest, what is the chances of us getting it cheaper than the UK - zero.

You can get the 8GB iPhone3g cheap locally already.

R185pm 2 year contract.

And it's unlocked!

That's less than the UK launch price!
?
O2 is the exclusive carrier for the new iPhone in the UK and will be offering the new iPhone at £440.40 for the 16GB 3GS and £538.30 for the 32GB 3GS on Pay As You Go contracts.

Indeed.
What these guys ^ said....

I am also tired of ppl asking whether they will get iPhones for $100.
FFS ppl. You have been through this already.
What that means is about a R2500 pay in (or more) and a contract needed.
The Americans are NOT buying iPhones for $100 cash.

Not that it matters that we go through this again here. In 5 days, someone else is going to bring up that same comment in a new thread. *sigh*

Watch carefully ...

R13.1953 = 1 GBP (10th June 2009 @20:39HRS)

So GBP 538.30 (launch price UK) = 13.1953 x 538.30 = R7103.03 (Rand equivalent)

R7000 (Your speculative SA launch price) < R7103.03

Q.E.D.;)
:erm: Erm
Firstly: The 16GB one is going for much less. (£440.40)
Secondly: I said
Probably gonna be around
7k. ;) And yes I am only guessing.
