So I just got a newsletter from iGear which said that the iPhone 3Gs will be launched in SA towards the end of August...

Let me correct myself - the iStore do sell iPhones but they get there supply from Vodacom. So Vodacom are the people you have to contact when inquiring about iPhones.

Over the 3GS - have you looked at the pay in prices?? I'm a student on a Talk 500 and even I think that's a waste for such a poor upgrade!

Bit much in my opinion, but Cellucity has always asked a bit more for the iPhone.

Don't want to sound petty Jaap but learn some internet etiquette. Craig broke the story few day ago already so give credit where credit is due. If I know Craig I'm sure he wouldn't mind the traffic.

I gave link back to Craig in my article... But yes, I should have mentioned it here on myBB.

On the other hand - spoke to Cellucity representative on the weekend, and they completely discredited the prices. But in my opinion I would rather trust Craig's prices than some opinion at Cellucity. Just shows how little we respect SA service providers.

First it was "July 2009", which we are nearly at the end of ... and now it is "towards the end of August ..."

Vodacom should get some marketing info onto their website!

People are getting pissed off with them.
